The Grey Wolf Award is the Peak Award for the Cub Scout Section. Any Cub who chooses to accept the challenge of achieving the Grey Wolf Award must complete the following:-
Using a map, plan and lead a hike/day walk of at least two hours duration with a Leader and a group of three to six Cub Scouts. Make sure everyone has appropriate equipment, clothing, food and a personal first aid kit for the chosen walk.
Only one Cub Scout per hiking/walking party can qualify for this award.

Arriving at YMCA Lake Dewar Lodge we were ready to enjoy a week-end of fun, adventure, exploration, laughter, friendship and badgework. A week-end where we could all work together to challenge each other and further improve and develop our Scouting Skills. A week-end where the weather was all over the place, but we adapted to continue our learning and had a lot of fun along the way. A week-end where as Cubs we grew improving our knowledge of:-
Fire Lighting
Canoeing
Archery
Camp Cooking
On a barmy and beautiful evening we untied with our Bacchus Marsh Cub friends and had some awesome fun which involved water, flour, shaving cream and nappies. And what do you get when you mix Cubs, water, flour, shaving cream & nappies? ......
FUN, LAUGHTER, FRIENDSHIP & ONE HUGE MESSY NIGHT
It was fantastic fun. All the Cubs joined together to run, chase, throw, smear and burst the messy ingredients all over each other and the leaders to ensure everyone went home covered in MESS!!!!
